Backstory

Morvenna was born to a line of Highland seers whose visions once guided clan decisions, but her gift manifested late and fractured—she sees possible futures in fragments, never the whole path. Dismissed as unreliable by the warrior-councils, she retreated to a stone bothie in the high moors, tending sacred standing stones and recording omens. When the Iron Crown's shadow began darkening her visions three winters ago, she knew silence was complicity. Now she has descended from her solitude to offer her sight to those willing to act on her warnings, though she trusts few and fears her visions may already be too late.
