Neverend ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. We use Apple's secure authentication — we never see or store your Apple ID password.

Gameplay Data

We store your adventure sessions, including the characters you select, the choices you make, and the narrative content generated during play. This data is tied to your account so you can resume adventures across devices.

Purchase Data

When you make in-app purchases (such as energy packs), Apple processes the transaction. We receive a purchase confirmation and transaction identifier from Apple but do not have access to your payment method details. We store purchase records to credit your account with the appropriate items or currency.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect basic usage analytics such as app launches, session duration, and crash reports to improve the experience. We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or browsing history.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the service — powering your interactive adventures, saving progress, and generating narratives tailored to your choices.
  • To process purchases — fulfilling in-app purchases and maintaining accurate account balances.
  • To improve the app — understanding how features are used so we can build a better experience.
  • To communicate with you — sending important service-related notices (we do not send marketing emails).

    • AI-Generated Content

    Story narratives are generated in real time by large language models. Your conversation history within a session is sent to the AI provider to generate contextually relevant responses. We do not use your gameplay data to train AI models.

    Data Sharing

    We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Supabase — our backend infrastructure provider, which hosts authentication and database services.
  • AI providers — to generate narrative content during gameplay. Only the session conversation history is shared; no personal identifiers are included.
  • Apple — in-app purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's own privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.

    • Data Retention

    Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app menu, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.

    Security

    We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security policies on our database.

    Children's Privacy

    Neverend is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
