Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain information when you use the Neverend mobile application and its associated services (the "App"), and the rights you have over your data.

The App and all related services are operated by AI Apps Software Services and Advertising Activities Inc. (in Turkish: AI Apps Yazılım Hizmetleri ve Reklam Faaliyetleri A.Ş.), a company registered in Balıkesir, Türkiye ("AI Apps", "we", "our", "us"). AI Apps is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Personal information is any information about you which can be used to identify you. This includes information about you as a person, your devices, your purchases, and information about how you use the App.

If the App contains links to third-party sites and services, those sites and services have their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities after you leave the App.

Age Restrictions

The App is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently done so, we will promptly delete that information.

Information We Collect

Information we collect falls into two categories: "voluntarily provided" information — anything you knowingly and actively provide while using the App — and "automatically collected" information — anything sent by your device in the course of using the App.

Account. You can use the App with a guest (anonymous) account, identified by a randomly generated identifier, or sign in with Apple. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. We never see or store your Apple ID password. If you link an Apple identity to a guest account, the two are merged.

Profile. A display name associated with your account.

Gameplay content. Adventure sessions, characters, choices, text inputs, dice rolls, inventory items, and the narrative content generated during play, tied to your account.

Created content. Adventures and characters you create, including titles, descriptions, prompts, backstories, attributes, and AI-generated cover and character images.

Purchases and energy. Apple processes all payments. We receive a transaction identifier and purchase confirmation — we do not see your payment method. We keep a ledger of your energy balance and energy transactions (purchases, spends, rewards, refunds) and your subscription status.

Referrals. Your referral code and the redemption events connecting your account with the account that invited you or that you invited.

Support requests. If you submit a support form, we store the name, email address, and message you provide.

Log data. When you access our servers, we may automatically log standard data provided by your device, such as IP address, device type and OS version, in-app activity, timestamps, and error details.

Diagnostics. When the App crashes or encounters errors, we automatically collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding it, including device model, OS version, remaining memory, and other technical details. Error and crash handling is performed by Luciq, a third-party provider, subject to its own privacy policy.

Analytics. App events such as screens viewed, features used, and session duration, keyed to a pseudonymous account identifier. We do not collect precise location, contacts, or browsing history.

Advertising attribution. If you installed the App after tapping an ad, we may receive attribution data from Apple (via the AdServices framework for Apple Ads) or from Apple's SKAdNetwork (for ad networks such as Google Ads). This data tells us which campaign led to the install; it does not identify which ads you saw or include your identity.

How We Use Data

  • To operate the service, generate adventures, and save your progress.
  • To process purchases and maintain your energy balance and subscription entitlements.
  • To operate the referral and daily reward programs.
  • To detect and enforce against abuse or Terms of Use violations.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve the reliability and quality of the App.
  • For product analytics, A/B testing, and informing product decisions.
  • To measure advertising effectiveness.
  • To send service-related notices. We do not send marketing email.
  • We only collect and use your personal information when we have a legitimate reason for doing so, and we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you. Personal information will not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes.

    Shared Sessions

    If you join a shared (multiplayer) gameplay session with other users, the following becomes visible to every other participant in that session:

  • Your display name.
  • The character you choose.
  • Your in-session choices, text inputs, and contributions to the shared narrative.
  • Your online/offline status within the session.
  • Do not share anything in a shared session that you are not comfortable making visible to the other participants.

    Public Content

    You may choose to publish adventures you create so that other users can discover and play them. Published content — including its title, description, cover image, and characters — is visible to other users of the App. Content you keep private is visible only to you and, in multiplayer sessions, to participants you invite. See our Terms of Use for how published content is handled when you delete your account.

    AI Processing

    Narrative content, images, and other generated content in the App are produced by third-party AI providers in real time. To generate a response, we send these providers your in-session choices and inputs, the conversation history of the current session, and the adventure and character context. For image generation, we send the text prompts and context describing the image. We do not send your name, email address, or Apple identifier to AI providers. These providers process this data to generate responses, subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

    AI Training and User Data

    Third-Party AI Services. The App uses AI technologies powered by third-party service providers, including those listed under "Third Parties We Share Data With" below. While we facilitate the interaction between you and these AI technologies, we do not control the training methods, data usage, or algorithms of these third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

    No AI Training by Us. We do not use your data to train AI models internally.

    Transparency. The specific AI model providers we use change from time to time. You can contact us to learn more about the providers currently in use.

    Content Moderation and Conversation Monitoring

    We log and retain the inputs you submit and the AI outputs generated for you. Automated systems — and, where necessary, authorized personnel — may access this data for the following purposes:

  • providing and operating product features that depend on past sessions (including story history, session continuity, and personalization);
  • debugging, monitoring service health, and improving the quality and reliability of the App;
  • product analytics and informing product decisions;
  • detecting and preventing harm, abuse, exploitation of minors, self-harm, or other safety risks;
  • enforcing our Terms of Use and content policies;
  • complying with applicable laws and regulations and responding to lawful requests from authorities;
  • responding to user reports and conducting abuse investigations;
  • improving our safety and moderation systems.
  • Your inputs and generated outputs are automatically screened for policy violations. We log moderation events — including the triggering content, category, and score — and may act on them to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts.

    Third Parties We Share Data With

    We do not sell your personal information. We disclose personal information only to:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, storage, and realtime infrastructure.
  • Apple — authentication (Sign in with Apple), in-app purchase processing, and advertising attribution.
  • RevenueCat — purchase and subscription management.
  • Mixpanel — product analytics, keyed to a pseudonymous account identifier.
  • Firebase (Google) — app analytics.
  • Luciq — crash reporting and diagnostic logs.
  • OpenRouter — AI model routing for narrative generation.
  • Replicate — AI image generation.
  • OpenAI — automated content moderation of inputs and outputs.
  • Google and Together AI — AI model providers used for certain generation features.
  • Google Ads — install attribution via Apple's SKAdNetwork (no SDK in the App; postbacks are sent by Apple's on-device system).
  • These providers act under our instructions and are contractually restricted in how they may use your data. We may also disclose personal information to professional advisors; to courts, regulators, and law enforcement as required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights; and to an entity that acquires all or substantially all of our assets and business.

    Data Retention

    We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Account and gameplay data are deleted when you delete your account, typically within 30 days, and purged from routine backups within 90 days.
  • Purchase and transaction records may be retained longer where required for accounting, tax, or legal obligations.
  • Published content that you made publicly available may be retained and attributed to a generic deleted-user identity with no link to your personal information, as described in our Terms of Use.
  • Safety records — content blocked or flagged by our safety and moderation systems — may be retained after account deletion, in anonymized form where feasible, for user safety, abuse prevention, and compliance with applicable laws. These records are not subject to erasure or correction requests where retention is required for these purposes.
  • Security

    We protect personal information within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification — including TLS encryption in transit, secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

    International Transfers

    We are based in Türkiye. Our backend and third-party processors may store and process data in the United States or the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including your explicit consent where applicable law requires it. By using the App you acknowledge this transfer of your data.

    Your Rights

    Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, delete your account from the in-app menu or contact us via the support page below.

    EEA and UK (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing is your consent (where required), the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the App. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

    California (CCPA). We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may exercise your access and deletion rights as described here. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.

    Safety records exception. Rights to correction or erasure do not apply to records retained for user safety, abuse prevention, or compliance with legal obligations, as described under Data Retention.

    Children

    The App is not directed at, and is not intended for, individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

    Breach Notification

    If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.

    Business Transfers

    If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, data — including your personal information — would be among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us. Any such parties may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, continue to use your personal information according to this policy, which they will be required to assume.

    Limits of Our Policy

    The App may link to external sites that are not operated by us. We have no control over the content and policies of those sites and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their privacy practices.

    Changes to This Policy

    We may change this Privacy Policy to reflect updates to our business processes, current acceptable practices, or legislative or regulatory changes. Material changes will be announced in the App. If required by law, we will get your permission or give you the opportunity to opt in to or opt out of new uses of your personal information.
