But a creeping darkness now threatens this connection, leaving wizards drained and powerless as their familiars vanish without a trace. Fear and suspicion fester, poisoning the delicate balance between the six Great Houses. Whispers speak of an ancient entity rising from the depths, hungering for the magical essence that binds wizard to beast. Accusations fly between the Houses, each fearing the other's ambition, while the disappearances escalate. As entire covens fall silent, a desperate call goes out to all wizards: uncover the truth behind this corruption before it consumes everything they hold dear.
