Backstory

Adru was a scout for the Remnant Crown until the Rot claimed his hunting grounds and twisted the forest he'd protected for decades into a writhing nightmare. He watched his ranger brothers succumb to the blight one by one, their bodies becoming hollow vessels that hunted him through the corrupted woods. Now he serves Prince Aldric as a guide and tracker, leading desperate missions into the blighted zones—though he suspects the corruption has already taken root in his own blood, and he races against his own transformation. His keen elven senses make him invaluable for detecting the Rot's presence, but also curse him with the ability to feel its hunger gnawing at the edges of his mind.
