Backstory

Iris is a documentary filmmaker who came to the Ashford Estate seeking material for her project on urban legends and folklore. Haunted by the unsolved disappearance of her younger brother five years ago—a case gone cold—she's developed an obsessive need to understand the inexplicable. She accepted the invitation partly out of professional curiosity, partly hoping the house might hold answers to things that don't make sense. Beneath her analytical exterior lies a fracturing psyche; she's started seeing patterns that may not exist, hearing echoes of her brother's voice in crowds. Tonight, trapped inside, those fractured pieces are beginning to crack.
