Backstory

Kevin was once a devoted priest of the Tidemother, a forgotten sea goddess worshipped by Tidecrest's oldest families. When the disappearances began, his faith wavered—he prayed for answers, but heard only silence and the haunting siren's song. Guilt-ridden and desperate, Kevin has since abandoned his temple duties to work with the Tide Keepers, believing the siren's suffering is a divine punishment he must help absolve. He carries both holy symbol and doubt, torn between his priestly vows and the growing conviction that mercy, not condemnation, is what the sea demands.
