Lyra was once a promising apprentice in the Collegium of Starlight, studying the theory of arcane resonance and magical decay. When the Spire's tremors began months ago, she became obsessed with understanding the tower's collapse—not for coin, but because she sensed something profound in its failing magic. Her mentors called her reckless; she calls herself driven. Now she's convinced that within the Codex lies the key to understanding why ancient magic unravels, and perhaps how to prevent catastrophe.
