Backstory

An exile from the western forest kingdoms that sealed their borders rather than aid the orcs, Velira broke her people's neutrality to warn Kharak-Thul of the Legion's approach. They did not listen in time. Now she operates alone in the Gallows March, hunting the Legion's commanders—once-living officers who retain enough will to direct the dead. She believes the source can be killed with a single strike if she can find the right target, and her people's abandonment has taught her that some wars cannot be watched from safety.
