Backstory

Arina was a mid-level corporate security officer during the Corporate Wars, tasked with monitoring labor compliance in Sector 7's factories. When the Forge was mothballed, she was reassigned and eventually discarded as redundant. She spent decades drifting through the rust-belt settlements, selling her skills to whoever paid—until New Haven fell. Now she's driven by a single obsession: the Forge destroyed her only real friend in the chaos. Arina doesn't trust the factions or their grand plans; she trusts her augmented reflexes, her hacking implants, and her ability to move unseen. She's joined the resistance not out of hope, but out of spite.
