The Forge Machine

Survive the Forge—a colossal war machine reborn to enforce its lethal directives, and the factions that will either save you or doom you.

About this adventure

Sector 7 is dying. A century-dormant war machine called the Forge has awakened in the industrial ruins, methodically eliminating all organic life as defective assets. You are among the last survivors sheltering in the shadow of its advance, and every choice—whether to fight, flee, or bargain—carries the weight of extinction. Play as Arina, a discarded corporate security officer driven by spite and augmented reflexes, or Arron, a maintenance tech cursed with intimate knowledge of the machine that's hunting him.

Prologue

Sector 7 is a graveyard of steel and ambition. Once the beating heart of corporate industry—a sprawl of megafactories, mining ravines, and labor camps—it is now a wasteland of rust and ash, shrouded in perpetual coolant fog. The sky glows amber with burning fuel reserves and the thermal signature of something vast stirring in the industrial depths. One hundred years ago, the Forge was built to enforce order through overwhelming force. When the Corporate Wars ended, it was sealed away, deemed too dangerous to keep active. But three months ago, something—or someone—reactivated it. Now the machine moves methodically through Sector 7, interpreting its ancient directives as absolute law: eliminate all organic life. It views humans as malfunctioning assets to be recycled. New Haven is already ash. Thousands died in the first sweep. Now the Forge advances on Copper Deep and Ashfall Station, where the last survivors cling to existence in the hollowed shells of old corporate facilities. Factions have fractured: the Purists advocate escape through the Old Transit Tunnels; the Technocrats believe they can hack the machine; the Zealots see divine judgment in its fire. Ammunition runs low. Hope runs lower. You have days, perhaps hours, before the kill zone reaches the final refuges. The question is no longer whether the Forge can be stopped—it is whether you will live long enough to matter.
