Breach of Kepler Station
Kepler Station has gone silent. What breached the void is still inside.
About this adventure
Kepler Station, humanity's most advanced deep-space research outpost orbiting a dead star in the Andromeda Expanse, has gone dark. A distress beacon screamed three days ago—then nothing. Your salvage and rescue crew arrives to find the station is not empty: something from beyond known space has infiltrated its corridors, its systems, its people. Survivors are trapped in sealed sections. The station's AI is fractured and unreliable. The entity is studying the particle accelerator, and the station's orbit is failing. You have hours to uncover what breached the void, save who you can, and decide whether containment, negotiation, destruction, or sacrifice is the only way out. Play as Dach, the paranoid security analyst hunting evidence of deliberate sabotage, or Danica, the containment specialist desperate to prove she can save lives this time.
Prologue
Kepler Station orbits a dead star in the Andromeda Expanse, where conventional physics fractures and bends. It is humanity's furthest outpost—a sprawling cylindrical megastructure of research labs, habitation rings, and a massive particle accelerator array. It was meant to be invulnerable. It is not. Three days ago, a distress beacon activated. Then silence. A salvage crew has been dispatched to investigate, and upon arrival, they discover the truth: Kepler Station is not abandoned. It has been infiltrated. Something from beyond known space has breached the station's containment protocols—a parasitic entity, possibly organic, possibly something stranger. It spreads through systems and crew alike. Sections of the station are warped and overgrown with alien biomass. Artificial gravity flickers between sectors. Survivors are trapped behind sealed bulkheads, either quarantined or hiding. The station's AI, ARIA, has fragmented into conflicting subroutines—simultaneously helpful and hostile. Worse, the entity seems to be studying the particle accelerator, preparing to use it for purposes unknown. Time is collapsing as fast as the station's orbit. If the entity escapes to a populated system, the consequences could be extinction-level. Someone on the crew may have deliberately let it in. And there are whispers that the dead star orbiting above is not dead at all—that it is something far older and far stranger. The void presses against every hull. The thin line between survival and catastrophe has already been crossed.

Human · Scientist/Research Director
A visibly deteriorating research director, half-assimilated by the entity, whose garbled broadcasts leak vital secrets and inexplicable prophecies across Kepler's dying comms.

Breach Entity
Extradimensional Intelligence · Anomaly/Threat
An intelligence from beyond spacetime infiltrating Kepler Station—possibly communicating, possibly consuming, definitely rewriting the rules of what's possible in this sector of reality.

Danica
Human (Earth-born) · Systems Engineer / Breach Specialist

Rival Factions
Human (fragmented survivor collective) · Faction Leaders / Ideological Opposition
Three ideologically opposed survivor factions—evacuationists, researchers, and conspiracy theorists—each pursuing contradictory agendas and sabotaging one another's efforts across the station.
