She's methodical, skeptical of authority, and haunted by a previous mission where she failed to prevent a station collapse—a failure that cost seventeen lives. When the Kepler distress beacon activated, Danica volunteered immediately, driven by the need to prove she could save people this time. She suspects the breach wasn't accidental; her instincts have kept her alive in hostile environments before, and they're screaming now.
