Backstory

A former emergency broadcast technician who kept a regional EAS station running for three years after the Collapse before it was destroyed in a faction raid. She has spent the last four years as a nomadic radio scavenger, trading information and signal-brokering between communities — she knows more about the surviving airwaves than almost anyone alive. When she first caught KEND-7's signal six months ago, the voice said her daughter's name. Her daughter died in the raid. She has been trying to locate the source ever since, and the dying stranger's map felt less like a gift and more like the universe finally answering a question she'd been screaming into the static.
