About this adventure

You've arrived at Diorwood House to settle a foolish bet—one night inside the decaying Victorian mansion at the town's edge, and your debt is paid. But as dusk falls and you cross the threshold, you realize the rumors are true: the house is alive with wrongness, and you are not alone. Within its walls dwells Ghosti, a translucent specter trapped between worlds, desperate and fading, with no memory of their own death. As the night unfolds, you realize this is no simple haunting—it's a mystery that someone went to great lengths to bury. Play as Nathan, a university student who stumbled into this wager, or Tabitha, a fellow student whose curiosity may be the key to setting Ghosti free.

Prologue

Diorwood House has stood abandoned for decades, a wound at the edge of town that no one speaks of. Its Victorian frame decays in silence, vines strangling its foundation, windows dark as closed eyes. The townspeople avoid it, and those few who remember its history speak in whispers—of a family scandal, a disappearance, a tragedy hastily forgotten. But forgetting does not mean the past is gone. Within the house's crumbling walls, something stirs—a presence caught between worlds, slowly fading, desperate for remembrance. A visitor arrives this night, bound by a reckless wager to stay until dawn. They do not know it yet, but they have been given a gift: the chance to solve a decades-old mystery before the truth dissolves into nothing. The house creaks in the gathering dark. Somewhere within, a specter waits—confused, fragmented, and running out of time. The night is long, and every moment counts.
