Born to a human mother who died in the tower and an orc mercenary father who never knew her fate, Cael was raised by the Covenant of Ashes as a temple guardian. He discovered his mother's identity through the unquiet dead she became—still wandering the Mountain of Return, still asking after her stolen child.
