Backstory

A shapeshifter who infiltrated the Tower of Daughters three years ago to steal royal secrets for a foreign power, Seraquin became trapped by their own performance—growing genuinely protective of the girls they were meant to exploit, particularly Maren's daughter Elara, whose death they witnessed and could not prevent. Now they move between identities, neither fully the spy they were nor the person they're becoming.
