Mira of the Greywood

Backstory

Mira grew up in the Greywood, a vast forest community that lived apart from the kingdoms and their politics — until the Pale King's advance turned the Greywood silent and grey, killing every tree and creature within it in a single autumn. She is the only member of her community known to have survived, found wandering the Edge's approaches by a scout patrol, half-starved and carrying wounds she refuses to explain. She speaks little, wastes nothing, and reads terrain with an instinct that borders on supernatural. She has no political allegiances and no interest in kingdoms — she wants the thing that killed her world to stop existing.
