Seravin Ael'Varath

Backstory

Seravin is the eldest daughter of the slain patriarch and the family's most accomplished warrior, trained since childhood in the dual traditions of sword-craft and forest-warding. She carries enormous guilt because she was away on a border patrol when her father died in the first impact, and now drives herself with a cold, controlled fury that sometimes blinds her to options that don't involve a blade. Her connection to the Aethermourn runs deep through her blood-bond, and she can feel the tree's pain as a physical ache in her chest.
