Backstory

Thessaly is the youngest member of the family — barely a century old, still considered a youth by elven reckoning — who completed her blood-bond to the Aethermourn just six months ago. The bond is raw and untempered, which means she feels the forest's pain more acutely than any other living elf, but it also means she can sense things the others cannot: the Vorrkai's internal rhythms, the faint patterns in how they move, and a strange low vibration she has begun to hear emanating from the dying Vorrkai in the Shattered Canopy. She is impulsive, emotionally volatile, and underestimated by everyone around her.
