Sister Aldra Venn

Backstory

Aldra is a scholar-cleric of the Order of Unwritten Things, a small religious sect devoted to the study and preservation of memory as a sacred phenomenon. She has been tracking rumors of the Archivist — which her Order considers an abomination, a being that consumes what should be inviolable — for three years. The Ossian Mair is the first physical evidence she has found that the Archivist is real and operating in the material world. She believes the crew can be helped, that their memories can be recovered through ritual means, but she also knows that confronting the Archivist is not something she should do alone. She is calm, methodical, and carries a deep well of moral conviction that occasionally tips into ruthlessness.
