Backstory

Aldric was a decorated knight of Valdenmoor's royal cavalry, known for his honor and his iron discipline on the battlefield. He was framed for Lord Edden's murder because he was present at a private dinner the night of the killing — close enough to be a credible suspect, respected enough to be a threat if he ever spoke the truth. He carries himself with the weight of a man who has never broken his word and cannot understand a world where that means nothing.
