Backstory

Torven was a master smith and siege engineer for a dwarven mining consortium before being imprisoned after a catastrophic tunnel collapse that killed twelve men — a collapse Torven insists was caused by deliberate sabotage, not negligence. He has spent three years in Ironhold studying its walls, its stones, its weaknesses, with the patience and precision of a craftsman. He knows more about how Ironhold was built than anyone alive, and he has been waiting for someone worth escaping with.
