Backstory

Gorvak is the Covenant's blunt instrument — a former pit fighter and mercenary who came to the organization after a Pale Sentinel squad destroyed the labor camp where his younger brother was imprisoned. He is not subtle, not patient, and not particularly interested in politics, but he is devastatingly effective in close quarters and has a survival instinct that borders on preternatural. He approaches the castle the way he approaches everything: directly, and with the confidence of a man who has survived things that should have killed him.
