Backstory

Rhen is an elven exile from a forest enclave that was burned by Aldric's soldiers two years ago — a reprisal for a village that sheltered refugees. He spent those two years hunting down the soldiers responsible one by one before the Ashen Covenant found him and offered him something better: the man at the top of the chain. His grief has curdled into a focused, almost serene hatred, and he is the only assassin on this contract who is not ambivalent.
