Backstory

Mirka is a master alchemist and poisoner who ran a legitimate apothecary for twenty years before Aldric's inquisitors accused her guild of sedition and had her colleagues executed. She joined the Covenant not out of ideology but out of a very practical desire for revenge, and she brings to the contract a chemist's methodical patience and a dwarf's stubborn refusal to accept failure. She is the most likely to find an elegant, untraceable solution — and the least likely to care about the moral complexity.
